Niagara questions

Which towns does Zunvi cover in Niagara?

Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Fort Erie, Grimsby, Lincoln, Thorold, Pelham, Port Colborne, West Lincoln and Wainfleet.

Where do Niagara listings come from?

From official sources, starting with the City of Niagara Falls business-licence open data, the City of Welland Business Directory and the Niagara Region Consolidated NEI Opendata. Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Niagara Falls. Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – City of Welland. Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence - Niagara Region. Each listing page shows its source and licence.

Does a listing mean the business is open?

Not on its own. The City notes that the dataset is not exhaustive, and a licence record does not confirm that a business is open today. A directory entry does not confirm that a business is open today. The inventory comes from an annual employer survey; an entry does not confirm that a business is open today. Check with the business before you go.

How up to date are the listings?

Listings come from each publisher's dataset and are updated when Zunvi imports a newer copy. Each listing page shows the date its record was retrieved. A business can open, move or close between updates.

A listing is wrong, or I want my business removed. What do I do?

If a detail is wrong or you would like a business removed, tell us the listing's address and what should change: a contact address is being set up; it will appear here shortly. Details that come from the official records may also need updating at the source, with City of Niagara Falls, City of Welland and Niagara Region.

How do I claim my business?

If you run a listed business, open its listing and choose “Manage this listing” to confirm it is yours. You can then add your hours, a description and your website. It is free.
